What is Coaching Corner?

After my son was born I had a terrible time managing my home and taking care of him.

For most of my 20's I had been able to "pass" as a neurotypical person. But all of a sudden life was just totally overwhelming.

I started out by devouring as many books as a could about adults with ADHD. I had been diagnosed as a teenager, but really believed I could just try harder and everything would be ok, my secret would be safe.

Around this same time I noticed that all of the ADHD Facebook groups were huge - and well...kind of a downer.

Getting myself a coach was not an option because most certified ADHD coaches are pricey!

So I started my own group - the original A Dose of Healthy Distraction Group on Facebook.

Why Coaching Corner?

Coaching corner is a combination of traditional coaching and a private membership community.

When you talk with other women who are going through the same things, you naturally feel less alone. We try to create a safe space where our members feel appreciated and understood.

Imagine coming into Coaching Corner and telling everyone about your bad day, and KNOWING you do not have to explain yourself. Nor do you have to make excuses or listen to anyone shame you.

What would it be like to talk to an ADHD coach, and receive feedback and support from other members going through the same things?

Can you imagine trusting the other women around you so much, that you immediately post in your private community as soon as you feel the urge? (Feeling confident somebody will see your post and respond.)

The idea is to combine the advantages of 24 hour access to a private membership community with small-group ADHD coaching sessions led by the hosts.

The best part? The first month of Coaching Corner is completely free.

One-on-one sessions available by request.

We want this group to GROW. There is no other private ADHD community at this price, that offers the same level of accessibility and ease of use. Our goal is to keep this group intimate and productive while offering tremendous value.

"Just a few benefits from a couple months of membership. You have a "tribe" and comeraderie. It's a little quieter than the big group and if there aren't many others around you sometimes get Jennie or Liz all to yourself!"
- Michele

"I can say that I have been able to set up several routines and maintain them. My husband had a medical crisis and this group helped me to maintain my sanity.
I post things in here I would never post to the big group. This is my tribe."

"I think what you do in here is amazing. I mean this is going to blow up! I am so glad I found this group."

Questions always come up, and we want to save you some time by providing you with answers to some of the questions that we see a lot. Don’t hestitate to reach out with further questions.

Absolutely not! Although knowing your ADHD status helps us to guide you in the right direction. If you just want to get to know us and pick our brains that is fine too!

Nothing but yourself. You will receive a zoom link via Facebook messenger for each virtual session. We will also post the zoom link in the private group page.
  • How much does it cost?
We like to keep things simple:  If you want access to the secret group and one weekly coaching session you pay $20 per month. We bill you on the 15th of each month through PayPal. That's it!
